  • What training was necessary for your job?

  • What did you do in school that helped you in your career?

  • Where did you grow up?

  • Where did you go to elementary school, college, etc.?


Here are some ideas to guide you:

  • How will you keep their attention?

  • What props will you bring?

  • How will you create an activity where students can move around?

  • How will you involve kids in your presentation?

Alder Elementary School students are in for a special day on February 22, 2019 because people like you will be sharing the story of their career paths in classrooms. This annual event familiarizes students with the wide array of job fields available to them. As a Career Day guest, you'll have roughly 20 minutes to present in classrooms and lead a short hands-on activity with students.
